Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
